The ZX400MC‑7 is built to deliver maximum efficiency, uptime, and safety on demanding demolition projects. Based on the proven ZX350LC‑7 platform, this multi‑carrier configuration brings Zaxis‑7 technology and a powerful, emissions‑compliant engine to California job sites.
Designed to handle a wide range of demolition tasks, it can be equipped with up to four front attachments—including a monoboom, two‑piece boom, and high‑reach fronts of 69 ft or 79 ft. One machine can take on the work of several, reducing transport needs and simplifying planning.
Boom Quick Connect and Tool Quick Connect let operators switch booms and attachments directly from the cab. A triple boom cylinder, extendable undercarriage for full 360‑degree stability, and a longer track frame further expand its capability.

Every Hitachi machine comes with a level of comfort through our full machine standard warranty. It promises we’ll fix any defects in materials or workmanship on our compact equipment for two years after delivery or 2,000 hours.*
EXTENDED WARRANTY AND SERVICE CONTRACTS
Although every new Hitachi model is covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty (2 years / 2,000 hours), sometimes additional protection is required, particularly if your machine is working in challenging conditions, or if you want to minimize repair costs. In that case, you can call on us for HELP (Hitachi Extended Life Program) – a unique extended warranty, or tailor-made service contracts. Extended warranty is available up to 10,000 hours.
