These programs can support replacement of eligible older off-road equipment with equipment that meets the current applicable California emissions standard or an approved zero-emission category. Operating history, ownership, use, and program-specific replacement rules matter.
CORE supports eligible zero-emission off-road equipment through published voucher categories and funding rounds. Categories and funding status change; verify the current CORE page before treating a machine as voucher-eligible.
EQIP supports approved conservation practices under an NRCS plan. Applications are accepted year-round, while state ranking dates determine when applications are considered for available funding. It is not a general equipment rebate.
Most programs request the make, model, serial number, engine year, and meter hours; proof of ownership and the operating records named in the current application; the county and air district where the equipment operates; and the agency's current application with its required quote format.
